Become a Foster Parent
Why?
Each year, thousands of children in California are in need of
out-of-home placements. Unfortunately, there are not enough foster
homes available to meet the growing needs.
Who?
Prospective foster parents must be at least 21 years of age, and can
be single or married. Our Small World does not discriminate against
prospective foster parents based on their cultural or religious
background, or sexual orientation.
How?
For more information on becoming a foster parent, please contact
Edel Quezada at (714) 704-4545. She can assist you with
scheduling an orientation to learn more about Our Small World and
becoming a foster parent.
Foster Parent Spotlight
Angel Diaz
Angel has been a foster parent with Our Small World for over two years. She is an extremely proud and loving foster parent of a little boy. Angel and her family have been this little boy's family since he was just two months old. She has been part of every milestone thus far in his life, from his first belly laugh to his first day in preschool. She provides him a stimulating and nurturing environment where he has developed into a healthy, secure, bright, and affectionate toddler. This little boy has become such an important part of her family that Angel is currently in the process of adopting him. She is an extraordinary example of the quality foster families with whom we place our children.
Thank you Angel and family for all you do. |
