FOSTER PARENT TRAINING/INFORMATION
OSWFFA requires 15 hours of ongoing, annual training for all resource parents. Trainings are offered both by OSWFFA staff and in the community. During the office closure due to COVID-19, OSWFFA trainings will be provided virtually. Please see below for a list of our of upcoming trainings. OSWFFA strives to promote QPI in our trainings and work with our families.
The Quality Parenting Initiative is an approach to strengthening foster care, by refocusing on excellent parenting for all children in the child welfare system.
